Umrah has two duties.
(If they run willingly or unwillingly, the Umrah will be invalidated.)

1. Ihram:

Ihram is tied. Ihram men will wear two unstitched garments. And women should wear loose normal clothes. Reciting talbiya by wearing Ihram clothes for the intention of Umrah after attaining purity from the miqat or outside the miqat; If possible, perform two rakat nafal prayers.

The Talbiyah is- ‘Labbaika Allahumma Labbaik, Labbaika La Sharika Laka Labbaik, Innal Hamda Wanni’mata Laka Wal Mulak, La Sharika Laka’

That is, O Allah! I am present at your court, I am present at your door, I am present, you have no partner, I am present at your court. Verily all praises and blessings are Thine, (in all ages and everywhere) Thine is the dominion, Thou hast no partner.

Due to the intention of Ihram, some actions become prohibited, they are:
(1) Wearing tailor-made clothes (for men).

(2) Head covered by something that sticks to the head.

(3) Deliberately cutting or removing the hair of the head and body hair.

(4) Clipping of fingernails.

(5) Use of perfumes or perfumes.

(6) Hunting terrestrial animals.

(7) Conjugal intercourse or discussion of such matters.

(8) Proposing or entering into marriage.

(9) Use of gloves for women, covering the face (but must cover the face in front of people).

(10) Cutting, breaking, uprooting (at all times) the trees of the forbidden boundary of Makkah and Madinah.

(11) Taking things that are left in the Haram boundaries of Makkah and Madinah (but it can be taken out to give it to the owner).

2. Tawaf:
Tawaf of Baitullah. After reaching Makkah, one should perform Tawaf without delay and achieve purity. Men will keep Ijtaba i.e. right shoulder bare during Tawaf. That is, the middle part of the sheet should be taken under the right shoulder and placed on the left shoulder. Tawaf should be started by saying ‘Bismillahi Allahu Akbar’ from the place along Hazret Aswad. During Tawaf, if possible, the Rukne Yamani will touch it with his hand and every time he reaches Hazre Aswad in the circle, he will point to Hazre Aswad with his hand and say ‘Bismillahi Allahu Akbar’ and start the next circumambulation. During Tawaf, any prayer can be recited including recitation of the Qur’an.
In this way, when the seven rounds are completed, both shoulders will be covered and two rakat namaz will be prayed behind Ibrahim in the maqam. However, if it is not possible to pray there due to the crowd, it will be performed at any place in Masjidul Haram.

There are two Wajibs of Umrah.
(If they leave it intentionally, the Umrah will be invalidated. And if it is run unintentionally, the Umrah will be performed; but the condition is that a death or sacrifice must be offered as compensation.)

1. Sai:
Safa-Marwa Sai. Sai has to start from Safa Hill. First climb the Safa mountain and read this verse of the Qur’an, ‘Innas Safa wal Marwata min Shaya Irillah.’ (Surah Baqarah: verse 158). Then face the Qibla and raise both hands and pray in the court of the great Lord; Because it is a special place to accept prayers. Then start the Sa’i by saying ‘Bismillahi Allahu Akbar Lailaha Illallahu Wahdahu La-Shariqalahu Lahul Mulku Walahul Hamdu Wahuwa Ala-Kulli Shayin Qadir’. Any dua can be recited in Sai; However, men should cross the green lighted spot a little faster (women will cross naturally) and while crossing the spot, both recite this dua Ñ Rabbigfir warham wa’antal a’ajjul akram. After reaching the hill of Marwa, he will recite the dua and tasbeeh similar to the hill of Safa. In this way it will circumambulate seven times in total and come to Marwa hill and Sai will end.

2. Shaving the head:
Men must shave their heads or trim their hair. And women should cut at least one kur amount from the tip of the hair. And through this, the Umrah activities will be completed. Every pious believer cherishes the dream of pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina. Always thirsty for pilgrimage. A true lover is never satisfied with visiting Baitullah and Madinah. On the contrary, his thirst grew stronger every time he went to Ziarat, and every moment he returned he was burning with the pain of Makkah and Madinah.

So this is our plea to the court of the great Lord, O Allah! Cover all your loving servants with the cloak of mercy and bestow tawfiq on pilgrimage to Barbarbaitullah and Madinah through Hajj and Umrah.
